Sous Le Plaid
A warm but cloudy day in the city, long walk in the east village for breakfast, a meeting with Peter, lunch with Thomas a visit to the Dior store where Caleb works now, a visit to the Park, then I waited in vain on the Avenue Q lottery line before joining Thomas for diner and a tour of the galleries in Chelsea ( many openings on this day), later in the evening, to Bryan's invitation we joined him at Plaid a weekly party at Buckingam. Paul also known of the readers of Bryan's blog as Paulgina, was here too.
Along the hostess, the utterly fabulous Amanda (in great great shape) was Michael Lucas (don't know him ? DUH). The party was indeed dedicated to the launch of his new movie : Manhattan Heat. (Not for kids). The place was filled with Porn star looking people and plenty of nice gay, among them was Rufus Wainwright and a few people from the FIT who I met when I was there last spring.
It was a pretty fun party, friends and free booze certainly helped a lot.
